This magnificent beetle looks like a muscular warrior wielding an axe, making it a truly collectible rhino beetle.

  • Native Habitat: Philippines
  • Features: Sporting three horns reminiscent of the Ox Demon King, the juncture between the thoracic dorsal plate and the small scutellum has sharp edges. Be careful not to put your fingers in the gap, as it can result in a blood-curdling pinch!
  • Size: 50-133mm
  • Adult Lifespan Once Active: 5-10 months
  • Larval Period: 14-24 months
  • Behavior: Notoriously temperamental and highly combative.
  • Substrate and Air Temperature: 75-79°F (24-26°C) / Humidity: 60-80%
  • Beetle Food: Beetle jelly
  • Difficulty: Medium
